At Prosciutto, we’re inspired by the way we gather around the table back home in Italy: cured meats shared in the center, wine poured freely, plates passed around, and good company filling the room with laughter. We bring those traditions to New York through simple, honest food, generous hospitality, and a warm, welcoming space designed for coming together.
Prosciutto is an intimate spot in the East Village with eight small tables plus our window table which has four seats inside, four outside (covered). For larger parties, we can usually accommodate up to eight guests at the window table. All members of the party must be present before seating, grazie!
Our small team all hail from Pistoia, a little town in Tuscany. We bring our passion for food, our culture, and over 15 years of experience in the kitchens across Italy and here in NYC. Our deep connection to the Tuscany region and its time-honored cooking techniques ensures every dish reflects the true soul of Italian cuisine — rustic, refined, and unforgettable.
